Venizelos Meets Livni

Recent developments in the Middle East and the broader region were at the focus of talks between Greek foreign minister Evangelos Venizelos and Israeli justice minister Tzipi Livni.
Ms Livni who heads the Israeli negotiating team for the Middle East Peace Process informed Mr. Venizelos on the course of peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians.
The two ministers also talked about prospects for EU – Israel cooperation in the framework of the Greek presidency of the bloc starting in January 2014.
