With a military C-130 aircraft the Prime Minister travelled to Riga, Latvia, since the three VIP government aircraft, both Embraer and the Gulfstream, are grounded, as there are no spare parts.
According to real.gr, the three government aircraft are in maintenance, since they still have no access to the necessary spare parts.
This is why Alexis Tsipras and his colleagues traveled to Riga and the Summit with a C-130, which have been specially configured for the trip of Prime Minister. Mr. Tsipras departed at 10 am from the military base of Elefsina.
