Discover the eastern Aegean - Samos

The island of the mathematician Pythagoras, the philosopher Epicurus, and the astronomer Aristarchos, Samos is the island closest to the Asia Minor coast.

Samos features picturesque villages perched on Mount Ambelos that you access through vineyards, olive forests, pine forests, ravines and trees.
One should visit the mountain of Kerkis with dozens of caves, and the area extending from the River and waterfalls to small and large Seitani that constitute a vast ecological park.
At Ireo, the large archaeological site of the island, was born according to legend the goddess Hera, while at Pythagorean, sections of the Polykrateio Wall are preserved, as well as the ancient theater, the Roman Baths and the famous "Tunnel of Eupalinos", a unique construction of the 6th B.C. Century, which provided water in the city.
The island has majestic monasteries and temples of exceptional architectural interest, some of which are temples that are specimens of woodcarving art that flourished on the island.
