French President Francois Hollande expressed his support to Greece upon his arrival at the EU summit on Thursday regarding the implementation of the debt relief measures.
"I support the decisions taken at the Eurogroup. The Eurogroup decided relief measures for the Greek debt, which also are not yet satisfactory," he said and added: "We cannot demand further reforms from Greece or prohibit Greece to take decisions within the framework of the promises taken in Brussels so that a solution on Greece's future is found."
"I am in favour of a decent stance towards Greece in order to stay in the eurozone and achieve a solution to the debt that would allow stability in the country and Europe," the French President concluded.
