Turkish fighter jets violated Greek airspace numerous times on Wednesday in several regions of the Aegean, including one flight over the islet of Farmakonisi, the Greek Air Force said.
Two pairs of armed Turkish fighter jets entered Athens’ FIR without submitting flight plans, along with three aircraft of naval cooperation. The Air Force recorded seven violations of air traffic rules which developed into 25 violations of national airspace in several regions of the Aegean.
In all incidents, the Turkish aircraft were recognized and intercepted by Greek fighter jets
