Greek Communist party urges resistance to 'crass anti-Communism'

The Communist Party of Greece (KKE) on Monday released its own comment on the international conference focusing on the crimes of Communist regimes taking place in Estonia on August 23, organised by the Estonian Presidency of the Council of the EU.
"The primitive and crass anti-Communism supported by the EU executives, in which New Democracy takes the lead and is followed by PASOK, Potami and of course together with Nazi Golden Dawn, must meet the strong resistance of the Greek people, and all the people of Europe," a KKE Central Committee announcement said.
SYRIZA's refusal to attend the event did not exonerate it from responsibility, the announcement added, since it had helped pass the anti-popular memorandums with the help of these parties and "anti-Sovietism and historical revisionism were and are its main defining trait," the announcement added.
