- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
A severe weather front named Eurydice has gripped the whole of Greece for thge last few days. However, it seems that this was only the beginning, as it5 is being followed by cyclone "Zeno".
According to the weather service extraordinary report, bad weather will continue in the coming days.
Cyclone "Zeno" will affect the Ionian and Western Greece. However, it is too early to predict its exact course.
Such cyclones are called medi-canes, from the words Mediterranean and hurricanes, and are accompanied by strong winds and heavy rainfall.
Meteo.gr posted on Facebook a photo from NASA, which depicts the creation of the Mediterranean cyclone in the southeast.
