There is "huge interest" for investments in medicinal cannabis in Greece, Agricultural Development Minister Vangelis Apostolou told radio station "Sto Kokkino" on Tuesday.
Apostolou said he has had contacts with investors who showed that there is significant interest on a pan-European level.
He said he is in discussions with the relevant ministers to complete a report on a draft bill that will provide opportunities to cultivate medicinal cannabis under a very strict framework that will control the product from its original form to the end product. The next step will to begin the public consultation to complete the bill.
