Turkish PM threatens Greece on Imia anniversary

Turkey's prime minister, Binali Yildirim, threatened Greece on the anniversary of the events at Imia, that brought the two countries to the brink of war.

As Haberturk reported, during a joint interview with the Prime Minister of Niger, the Turkish Prime Minister warned Athens saying that "the transfer of the Imia 1996 crisis to today and relevant actions are inconsistent with good neighborliness."

As Yildirim said to Greece, "it is not right for our neighbors to have the ambition of fishing in turbulent waters when we are busy fighting terrorism."

And he rushed to add in a threatening tone: "We will not face this kind of effort in a positive way. If something like this happens, as Turkey, we always have precautions. No one need worry. "
