On the morning of Monday, the popular comic and satirical actor Vassilis Triandafyllidis, better known by his artistic nickname, Harry Klynn, died.

The popular 78-year-old actor (May 7, 1940) was born in Kalamaria, Thessaloniki, from a poor Pontian refugee family, Nikos and Kyriaki Trantafillidis. The director, Nikos Triandafyllidis (1966-2016), was his son, and died on June 7, 2016, after a battle with cancer.

"No Greek can not but regret it ... He was an aristophanic actor, with a sarcastic bite," Demetris Vitsas, Minister of Immigration Policy, commented through SKAI television.
