- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
The pro-government Turkish newspaper Sabah isn featuring a provocative article titled "Greece and the US have together placed a shield for traitors".
The author of the text argues that the Turkish secret services have identified the secret location where the remaining eight Turkish soldiers who escaped to Greece after the coup d'état of July 2016 and that, as they have discovered, a shield of 200 people has deployed around them on a 24-hour basis , consisting of US agents, EYP members, Greek police officers, and snipers.
He also writes that the monthly cost of protection of the eight tops one million dollars. He claims that the "coup d'etat" perpetrators, as he describes them, gave the Greek side "sensitive information about the Turkish armed forces", and that's why their protection team has grown from about 30 to 200 people.
