Greece, Cyprus, Jordan ministerial meeting, on Thursday

Alternate Foreign Minister George Katrougalos is due in Nicosia on Wednesday to participate in the Trilateral Ministerial meeting between the foreign ministers of Greece, Cyprus and Jordan, aiming at the preparation of the 2nd Trilateral Summit of the three countries at the beginning of 2019.
Katrougalos will meet with Cyprus Foreign Minister Nikos Christodoulides and Jordan's Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi for a discussion between the ministers and their delegations on recent developments in the wider region of the Eastern Mediterranean, while they will focus on the possibilities of enhanced cooperation in fields related to security and stability, mutually beneficial economic growth with an emphasis on energy, investment, telecommunications and tourism, as well as culture and education, a Greek foreign ministry announcement said.
Prior to this, the alternate foreign minister will have a meeting with Christodoulides, while a courtesy call will be paid on the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nicos Anastasiades.
