new bus lines link Pireaus port with Acropolis

The Organization of Public Transport (OASA) launched the new “X80 line-Piraeus-Acropolis-Syntagma Express” in order to facilitate tourists that arrive with cruise ships at the port of Piraeus to visit the Acropolis and the city center.
The new bus line will have as a terminal station Akti Xaveriou in Piraeus, will pass from Piraeus city center, will make one stop at the new Museum of Contemporary Art on Syggrou Avenue at the level of FIX metro station, one near the Acropolis Museum on Dionysiou Aeropagitou street and then on Syntagma Square.
The 25 kilometer line will will not take any longer than 60 minutes and will start daily at 7 in the morning. A second bus will be also be ready to make the same route, if there is increased demand in the summer season.
Passengers that wish to use this bus line will have to use a three day tourist ticket.
