100 million euros worth of drugs found in ship held at Heraklio

Greek authorities on Friday reported the discovery of a massive haul of drugs with an estimated street value exceeding 100 million euros on board the Syrian-flagged freighter "Noka", which had been confiscated and was being held at the port of Heraklio, Crete.

Maiden flight for first UAV patrolling the Aegean

The first 14-hour operational flight of the unmanned aircraft (HERON 1) operated by FRONTEX for 600 hours of flight in a pilot operation, was completed on 25 September, according to a release from the Hellenic Coast Guard.
