Varvitsiotis pledges to facilitate Greek shipping during handover ceremony

The new Minister of Shipping and Insular Policy Miltiadis Varvitsiotis presented his priorities for the next period at noon, during the ceremony of handing over the Ministry of Shipping from the acting minister Th. Kliaris. The event was attended by all the representatives of the Greek shipping agencies.

Greek economy: The challenges of the next day for the new economic staff

The next economic staff of the government is expected to dive straight into the "deep" (even if someone remains from the previous administration), as there are a number of critical issues, which will concern the Greek economy, until the end of 2023. What is certain is that any issues will be dealt with in the light of the restoration of fiscal rules from 2024, which were "relaxed" during the pandemic and will remain so until the end of 2023. After all, within the next period the Commission is expected to arrive at the new framework of the Stability and Development Program.

Greek Elections 2023: Unknown twists and surprises

A strong hand at the PM's office in terms of the supervision and coordination of government work, the formulation of central policy and the evaluation of government officials along with an expanded "rotation" in ministries (in terms of persons and responsibilities) is being prepared by Kyriakos Mitsotakis for his second  tenure. He is returning today to the Maximos Mansion  from where he will put the last pieces of the government puzzle for the official unveiling this afternoon.
