"The discussion at the Eurogroup meeting had a positive outcome. But we have to wait for the conclusion of the second programme review for money to be channeled in the economy through the quantitative easing programme. 2017 will be a growth year and people will understand that things will get better," Interior Minister Panos Skourletis on Tuesday said in statements to ERT TV.

"There is no early elections issue and the government has made it crystal clear" said Interior Minister Panos Skourletis in an interview with Athens Macedonian News Agency, on Sunday.

The Greek government was not examining any plans to raise a special consumption tax on fuel, Energy Minister Panos Skourletis said on Tuesday.
