OrangeLand Sparta is an initiative based on the promotion of orange with the view to enhancing tourism in Laconia, a region in the southeastern part of the Peloponnese peninsula.

Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras informed about a website and an application launched to track government work and lodge citizen complaints concerning the public administration, saying they are meant to improve relations between the state and its citizens. 

A UH-1H military helicopter, which had earlier disappeared from the radar, was located in the region of Sarantaporos, Elassona.
