Fraport Greece on Thursday announced several inaugural routes at the 14 regional airports it manages around Greece, while adding that ongoing construction works at the airports are continuing in a manner so as not to affect the summer 2018 season.  

Fraport Greece’s 10-million-euro project for the upgrading and expansion of the Kavala Airport “Megas Alexandros” in the northern port city is about to begin, the company recently announced.

Infrastructure, Transport and Networks Minister Christos Spirtzis strongly criticised the Fraport consortium for the way it was operating the 14 regional airports in Greece so far and for delaying investments to upgrade airport facilities.
