In a particularly harsh statement, New Democracy notes that Mrs Kassimati's move to post the comment 'cops, pigs, killers' on Facebook is an affront not only to the police but also to the Republic. "We expected Syriza to have democratic sensitivity and to disapprove. We invite Mr. Tsipras to remove Ms. Kassimatis from the SYRIZA parliamentary group, " said the governing party.
