Queensboro Bridge Climber Turns Himself In

  • Written by

Brooklyn artist Brendan Fagan, who posted a YouTube video of himself climbing the Ed Koch Queensboro Bridge, turned himself in to police today.

The 35-year-old bridge scaler uploaded the segment last week and now faces criminal trespass and reckless endangerment charges.

The climb was not identified until Fagan's YouTube activity, that showcased his act at approximately 4:00 a.m., last Tuesday morning. This latest New York City trespassing stint follows various violations in the last few weeks, at the 1 World Trade Center site by different parties.

New York Senator Charles Schumer has instructed the Department of Homeland Security to generate a Port Authority of New York and New Jersey analysis, concerning its safety protocols. Schumer declared, "These days you say who else could climb to the top of the Queensboro Bridge for a much more evil purpose? We have to be far more careful with our landmarks, with all of our entryways. Far more careful".
