Police Question Suspects Regarding Deliveryman Fatality
Staten Island police confirmed that three people remain in custody, regarding the fatal shooting of 50-year-old deliveryman Richard Salvia.
Tuesday night at approximately 8:45 p.m., Salvia was found with a bullet in his head on Grandview Avenue in Mariners Harbor. Currently, the three are being questioned but have not been charged. A weapon has been recovered.
A passerby saw Salvia lying in the street with Chinese to-go bags surrounding him. The tragic deliveryman was hurried to Richmond University Medical Center and pronounced dead. He worked for Crown Palace Restaurant located on Forest Avenue for only a few weeks, and originates from Turnersville, NJ.
