Sir Stelios Honors Cypriot Bi-Communal Entrepreneurs

  • Written by

Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou honored Cypriot entrepreneurs with ten cash awards of 10,000 euros, who are enhancing the nation's bi-communal relationships.

The easyjet founder's bi-communal business awards were attended by premier Cypriot delegates, including President Nicos Anastasiades. Greek-Cypriot and Turkish-Cypriot company members were granted their awards on massive checks from the philanthropic foundation, which were offered to further advance their entrepreneurial businesses.

Sir Stelios explained, "This is the sixth year we have run this competition and I never cease to be amazed by the determination of our entrepreneurs to use business as a medium to break down the barriers that separate our two communities.
