Ukraine Holds Russian Takeover Images
Ukrainian heads have claimed to have proof via photographs that Russian troops are functioning in the nation's eastern region.
Russia has consistently denied its appropriation of official buildings in Ukraine. However, the American administration believes the image are legitimate depictions.
Today, U.S. State Department spokesman Jen Psaki reported to CNN: "There has been broad unity in the international community about the connection between Russia and some of the armed militants in eastern Ukraine, and the photos presented by the Ukrainians last week only further confirm this, which is why U.S. officials have continued to make that case".
According to CNN, Ukraine has offered the photos to the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe. The images reveal gunman attacking a police station and occupying administrative buildings. The revelations follow a fatal shootout early Sunday, at a pro-Russian roadblock near the town of Slaviansk.
Yesterday, Ukrainian Prime Minster Arseniy Yatsenyuk stated to NBC's "Meet the Press", that Putin's dream is to restore the Soviet Union in its takeover of eastern Ukraine. The Prime Minster added, "And every day, he goes further and further...And God knows where is the final destination."
