NY Congressman Israel Declares Cypriot Support
New York Congressman Steve Israel confirmed his support on a Cypriot solution, and will assist U.S. Vice President Joe Biden's in all stated efforts.
Israel presides over New York's 3rd Congressional District and recently declared his stance on Cyprus at a Greek-American event, addressed by President of International Coordinating Committee Justice for Cyprus Philip Christopher.
On behalf of the American administration, Israel commented that the nation is apt to help implement a fair and everlasting solution to the Cypriot divide. The Congressman spoke of his intention to pen a letter to U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry.
