Spanoulis' buzzer-beater gives Olympiakos victory over Panathinaikos
After a thrilling encounter, Olympiakos won 68-66 against Panathinaikos at the Olympic Stadium of Athens, even Basket League's finals' series to 1-1 and regained the home advantage.
Captain of the visitors Vasilis Spanoulis (11 points, 5 rebounds) scored the decisive 3-point shot against his former team less than two seconds before the end of the game.
The 34-year-old guard appears to travel before making the shot, but it was a tough decision for the referees.
International power forward Giorgos Printezis was the MVP of the final, with 20 points and 9 rebounds, while shooting guard Nikos Pappas scored 12 points for Argyris Pedoulakis' side.
