NYC Rat Infested Dunkin' Donuts Shut Down (Vid)
A popular Dunkin' Donuts in midtown Manhattan has been shut down, due to a rat infested video of the business going viral.
Taken on a cellphone, the 15-second YouTub segment reveals rats scampering around donuts. The video hit the internet yesterday, which resulted in the Department of Health inspecting the store on 37th Street and Eighth Avenue today.
The coffee shop was closed: "...because conditions could not be corrected at the time of the inspection, including a severe rodent infestation that requires professional pest control services". The Dunkin' Donuts location was also cited with inadequate hand washing operations and the absence of protection, regarding food contamination violations.
