VP Biden Addresses Greek Orthodox Archdiocese Grand Banquet
Last night, the 42nd Biennial Clergy-Laity Congress of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America's Grand Banquet was attended by U.S. Vice President Joe Biden.
The event was held in Philadelphia, PA where Biden addressed its participants. Approximately 1,500 individuals attended the event, according to the Archdiocese's website.
As reported by ANA-MPA, Biden was positive when discussing Greece's economy and stated his administration's "continuous support" and his gratitude for the nation's "valuable role" as a comrade of the U.S. Concerning Cyprus, he expressed his opinion that "a fair solution can be reached in the near future".
