Infuriated MH370 Relatives Want Answers

  • Written by

Relatives heartbroken over the loss of their loved ones on Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 are beyond frustrated at officials, who can't offer why or where or proof of the wreckage.

Their words only offer advanced math as evidence that the jetliner crashed into the Indian Ocean.

According to reporters, one distraught relative stated, "I'm so mad...If you find something: OK, we accept...But nothing—just from the data, just from analysis". Malaysian officials claim they understand how difficult it is to receive this unsettling and uninformative news.

Yet today, acting Malaysian Transportation Minister Hishammuddin Hussein defended their release of vague data and the horrific thoughts that stem from it. He explained, "It was released out of a commitment to openness and respect for the relatives, two principles which have guided the investigation".

The search is now directed off the Australian west coast in an area of the southern Indian Ocean. Today's harsh weather stalled efforts in locating the Boeing 777-200ER. Officials warned that it may be an undetermined amount of time before any part of the airplane is actually located. As Australian Defense Force Vice-Chief Mark Binskin stated, "We're not searching for a needle in a haystack...We're still trying to define where the haystack is".

Today's statements infuriated many family members who want evidence before they are willing to accept the fate of their beloved passengers. Many believe that Malaysia is covering up what really occurred.
Tuesday's announcement was met with anger by relatives, who said it was premature to declare their loved ones dead before locating any wreckage or bodies. Others accused Malaysian officials of lying or concealing facts.

Malaysia Airlines CEO Ahmad Jauhari Yahya told journalists: "We all feel enormous sorrow and pain...Sorrow that all those who boarded Flight MH370 on Saturday 8th March, will not see their families again. And that those families will now have to live on without those they love".
