MH 370 Families Confront Boeing Company

  • Written by

As Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 passenger's families continue to have unanswered questions from the Malaysian government, they are now confronting Boeing Company.

As traveler Philip Woods' girlfriend Sarah Bajc stated to CNN, "There is a subset of those questions, including some new ones, that are much more technical that we will be bringing directly to Boeing. Boeing has a shareholders meeting next week. And if we're not getting information directly from Malaysia Airlines and from the Malaysian government, we might as well try to go directly to the source...Boeing is a publicly traded company in the United States, and that puts them in a position of a little bit more fiduciary responsibility".

The passenger's partner announced the above, after the Malaysian government's refusal to offer its preliminary report on Flight 370's vanishing. It has not been made to the public, but has been granted to the United Nation's International Civil Aviation Organization.

CNN requested a response from Boeing. The airplane company claimed, "Our thoughts and deepest sympathies continue to be with the families and loved ones of those aboard Malaysia Airlines Flight 370. Boeing continues to serve as a technical adviser to the U.S. National Transportation Board, and in that role we have been an active and engaged party to the investigation".

Affected families have stated they would sign confidentiality agreements prior to viewing the report. Malaysia has repeatedly claimed it is not hiding anything and is trying to work as hard as it can to find the plane, and offer concrete answers. Today is the 48th day in the unsuccessful search, that has found no plane debris.
