Σε έκτακτες εκδόσεις εντόκων γραμματίων προσανατολίζεται το υπουργείο Οικονομικών, σύμφωνα με πληροφορίες, προκειμένου να βρει το ελληνικό Δημόσιο περίπου 4,5 δισ. ευρώ για την κάλυψη των αναγκών του για πληρωμή τόκων και τοκοχρεολυσίων το πρώτο τρίμηνο του 2015, σε περίπτωση που δεν υπάρξει συμφωνία με την τρόικα.
