The country is heading to another summer fire season faced with an aging fleet of fire fighting aircraft, and a lack of vehicles and personnel.

Less than 24 hours after the forest fire at Keratea and while May is still at its beginning, a second large fire broke out this afternoon at Loutraki.

From 2 July 2014, Etihad Airways will increase frequency on the Abu Dhabi-Athens route from seven to 10 flights per week with the introduction of three new flights, which will provide passengers traveling to and from Athens with more choice and greater flexibility. The new flights will offer travelers the choice of two different departure times to and from Abu Dhabi.
