The agreement between Greece and Israel for the development of the "Achilles Shield" air defense and missile defense system is being signed today in Tel Aviv.
The three Israeli companies – IAI, its subsidiary ELTA and Rafael – whose weapons systems will form the “Achilles Shield” were racing to complete and deliver the final files last Sunday evening, having settled every technical detail and all the requirements set by the General Directorate of Defense and Security.
The signing ceremony is just around the corner for the major armament program for the multi-layered air defense network (anti-missile, anti-ballistic and anti-drone) with weapons systems from Israel that will create the Hellenic Dome and cover the entire country.
