Greek firm designs and tests new turboprop engine for light aircraft

In 2021, despite the objective difficulties for any kind of activity, the Greek company Heron Engines started in January the flight tests of a turboprop engine intended for aviation applications, especially in the category of Ultralight and light sports aircraft (LSA). ). The GVA130 engine is the work of 6 Greek engineers who are intensively involved in the program during the approximately one year of operation of the company.
