New Turkish provocations occurred on Tuesday (13/1) in the Central and Southeastern Aegean, with four F-16 fighter jets and an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) committing 5 violations of national airspace and two violations of air traffic rules in the Athens FIR.
Greece on Friday condemned the incursion of two Turkish fighter jets within 2.5 nautical miles of the northeastern port city of Alexandroupoli, calling the incident an “unprecedented violation of national sovereignty,” Greek newspaper Kathimerini reported.
The Ministry of Defense and the staffs have been struggling for a long time in order to effectively deal with the continuing Turkish delinquency manifested by the use of UAV’s in the Aegean.
