Passenger traffic through Greek airports increased by 14.6 percent in the first half of the year, compared to the same period in 2014, recording an 8.7 percent rise in the total number of flights over the same period, according to data released by the Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority (HCAA) on Friday.

In an interview to Australian radio, former Greek finance minister Yanis Varoufakis has described the 86 billion euro bailout deal agreed to by prime minister Alexis Tsipras as ‘a new Versailles Treaty’.

Productive Reconstruction Minister Panagiotis Lafazanis in a statement on Tuesday called the government and Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras "at the ultimate moment, to take back the agreement before the final decision is taken in parliament".
