Italian PM sides with Greece and Cyprus on east Med dispute

The agenda of the European Union Summit, which begins tomorrow in Brussels, was cited by Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte during his speech this morning in the Parliament of Rome, in which he noted Turkey's destabilizing role in the eastern Mediterranean.

Libyan fleet chief writes in Greek of taking Tripoli and dashing Ankara’s plans

In a post on his Facebook account that has created quite a sensation, Admiral Faraj al-Mahdawi, head of the Libyan Fleet, strongly expressed his opposition to Erdogan’s agreement with Fayez al-Sharjam on maritime borders. The Libyan admiral wrote specifically in fluent Greek: “We will liberate the capital, Tripoli, and destroy the Turkish dream.”
