Greece entering a new phase, Pappas notes; urges ‘policy change’ at ND

Digital Policy, Telecommunications and Media Minister Nikos Pappas, addressing main opposition New Democracy during a parliament debate on Friday, urged "patience and calmness". He also advised that it change its policy during the second half of the government's term, as "Greece is faced with a different economic reality."

Greece needs new industrial policy

"The country needs a new industrial policy which will contribute in the improvement of the trade balance and at the same time offer high-quality products in competitive prices and high-skilled and full-time job positions," Constantinos Mihalos, president of the Central Union of Greek Chambers and the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry (EBEA), commenting on the results of a survey conducted jointly by the Panhellenic Exporters' Association and EBEA.

Investment Opportunities in Greece

During his speech at the 12th Annual Greek Roadshow of the Athens Stock Exchange in London under the title "Greece on its way to growth", the Minister of Economy and Development Mr. Dimitris Papadimitriou argued that Greece is on the road to recovery and this is recognized by the markets, resulting in the fall of bonds and the start of large investment projects.
