Two killed in shootout in Anogia, Crete

It all started at 10 on Saturday night, when a fierce quarrel broke out in Perachori, Anogia, between the 30-year-old victim Giorgos Xylouris and Manolis Kalomiris, the son of the 63-year-old who was killed, who is known for his distinctions in boxing.

Favorite jetty in Iraklio, Crete, shut down for overcrowding

The northern jetty of Iraklio, on Crete, was shut down on Sunday after crowds ignored coronavirus-related restrictions to maintain distances, the Port Authority said.
Following four days of rainy weather, the public went out to the Koules Fortress jetty for exercise and walking but it was too crowded.
