A trilateral meeting between Greece,Cyprus and Egypt on diaspora issues is being held in Nicosia on Tuesday, with the participation of Greek Deputy Foreign Minister Terens Quick, the Presidential Commissioner of the Cyprus Republic Fotis Fotiou and Egyptian Minister of Immigration and Expatriate Affairs Nabila Makram.

In a resolution, 22 Thracian associations called Turkish President Recep Tayip Ardogan  "persona non grata" in the region, adding that the goal of the Turkish President is to fanatixcize locals and "make Greek sovereignty in the region a gray area".

Greek Cypriots who claim they were tortured by colonial forces when they were members of a guerrilla group in the 1950s are seeking damages from the British government.
