There are no problems regarding the hotels on Kos following the 6.4 magnitude earthquake that hit the island on Friday, according to the president of the Hoteliers Association of Kos, Konstantina Svynou.

"The situation is under control," Alternate Citizen Protection Minister Nikos Toskas said on Friday in statements to radio station Praktoreio 104.9 FM.

The strong earthquake that struck the island of Kos at 01.32 am on Friday has killed two people and injured many others.
