A strong earthquake shook western Turkey at 10:21 this morning and was felt on Greek islands near the Turkish coast.
A magnitude 4.5 earthquake shook the sea area at 04:09 87 km south of Ierapetra in Crete, or 454 km southeast of Athens, according to a statement from the Geodynamic Institute of the National Observatory of Athens.
