Cyprus announced it is joining Israel and Greece to push the European Union to consider a pipeline carrying east Mediterranean natural gas to the continent.

Before his meeting with the Greek Foreign Minister, Wolfgang Schaeuble said that the Eurogroup has expressed willingness to grant a precautionary credit line if the Greek programme is successfully completed. 

The former Finance Minister Giorgos Papakonstantinou is to sit in the dock over his alleged tampering of the Lagarde List.
