As every year, the Greek community of Toronto will honor this historic day with two special events:

The fundraising event for the British Museum’s financial needs was the sole purpose of the party held on Saturday night in various halls of the museum — including the Duveen Gallery, where the Parthenon Sculptures are displayed — provoking, understandably, intense reactions from Greece.P

Cardiological Center expands services to become fully digitized Onassis Hospital
The Onassis Cardiosurgical Center on Syngrou Avenue in Kallithea has been renamed the Onassis Hospital, signalling its expanded role and mission that now incorporates and upgrades its transplant center and a children's cardiological unit.
