The helicopter that fell on Thursday morning in North Evia, which is currently in the grip of Storm Elias, was a private flight with two people on board, according to sources. The helicopter disappeared from the Civil Aviation Authority's radar while flying over the island at Achladi Beach, near the seaside village of Agia Anna.

From 20:00 on Thursday night (06.07), the firefighters are on a war footing to contain the fire that has broken out in Aliveri, Evia. 82 firefighters with 6 units on foot and 24 fire engines operate at the front.
