Greece's role in a fragile geopolitical circumstance and in a regional instability triangle as well as security issues in the Middle East, the eastern Mediterranean and the Balkans dominated a meeting between Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias and the National Security Advisor of the US President, Herbert Raymond McMaster, in Washington.

Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias accused Turkey of adopting a dilatory strategy on the Cypriot issue during an official visit to Armenia.

His visit to the Georgia and Armenia was an opportunity to examine the problems in the Caucasus, evaluate the geostrategic situation and determine that there was a large degree of convergence in views and interests with the two countries, Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias said in an interview with the Athens-Macedonian News Agency published on Sunday.
