Kyriakos Mitsotakis is in The Hague, participating in the NATO Summit. The Greek Prime Minister, upon his arrival at the NATO Summit, stated that Greece already spends 3% of its GDP on defense, while he pledged that our country will spend over €25 billion on defense over the next 20 years.
Reports on reports that the Air Force is transferring Patriot systems to the base of Souda, in Crete, to shield potential US targets in the region, were denied by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis in a radio interview with Thessaloniki’s Status FM radio station on Thursday morning.
Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis met Monday morning at the Maximos Mansion with Yale University President Maurie McInnis and Rector of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens Gerasimos Siasos, on the occasion of a joint postgraduate program titled “Global Environmental Sciences and Public Health”, to be offered by the two institutions. The program is funded by the Recovery and Resilience Facility.
