Mitsotakis denies reports about Patriot missile transfer to Souda

Reports on reports that the Air Force is transferring Patriot systems to the base of Souda, in Crete, to shield potential US targets in the region, were denied by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis in a radio interview with Thessaloniki’s Status FM radio station on Thursday morning.

Mitsotakis Meets with Yale University President and Rector of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis met Monday morning at the Maximos Mansion with Yale University President Maurie McInnis and Rector of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens Gerasimos Siasos, on the occasion of a joint postgraduate program titled “Global Environmental Sciences and Public Health”, to be offered by the two institutions. The program is funded by the Recovery and Resilience Facility.

Mitsotakis' private meeting with Zelensky

“Let me once again express my country’s solidarity with the Ukrainian people, who these days are again suffering from large-scale Russian missile and drone attacks against civilians. These attacks, and I believe that we must reiterate this at every opportunity, are in flagrant violation of international humanitarian law. We have made it clear from the beginning that you have an inherent right to defend yourself against Russian aggression.” This was stressed in his speech by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, who today participated in the 4th Ukraine-Southeast Europe Summit, which took place in Odessa.
