The refugee issue, the security and the foreign relations will dominate EU discussions as a difficult year comes to its end, main opposition New Democracy (ND) leader said upon his arrival to the summit of the European People's Party (EPP) in Brussels.

The challenge for the next Greek government will be to convince the country's creditors to give it greater fiscal "breathing space", main opposition New Democracy leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis said on Tuesday.
