No visit to New York is ever complete without a gathering of the vibrant Greek-American community of this wonderful city, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis said during his greeting at an expatriate event held in Astoria, New York.

The Greek Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, has been chosen by the Atlantic Council to be named this year as one of its Global Citizens for 2024. Joining Mitsotakis in receiving Global Citizen Awards were the Prime Minister of Italy Georgia Meloni, the President of Ghana Nana Akufo-Addo and top film producer Miki Lee from South Korea.

The joint steps of Athens and Nicosia in the effort to restart the dialogue on the Cyprus issue, a few days before they will be at the United Nations General Assembly in New York, where the meeting of the Greek Prime Minister with Tayyip Erdogan will also take place, will be confirmed during their meeting today in Maximos Mansion Kyriakos Mitsotakis with the President of the Republic of Cyprus Nikos Christodoulidis.
