There is a significant historical foundation to Greek-Russian relations "that has allowed us to build a stable but also dynamic relationship over the centuries," Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras said on Friday, in joint statements with Russian President Vladimir Putin following their meeting in the Kremlin.

Of a new starting point in Greek-Russian relations spoke Sergei Lavrov in an interview with Greek newspaper "Efimerida ton Syntakton", meaning the meetings of Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.

Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras will be departing for Moscow on Thursday for a working visit on Friday with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister Dmitri Medvedev.
